Canon Snow joined the firm in 2014 focusing on the areas of general practice, bankruptcy, and family law.
Prior to law school, Canon served four years in the United States Air Force. It was there Canon truly learned to work as a team and put the mission first. The USAF’s core values, “Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do”, were shared with Canon during basic training and those beliefs remain with him to this day.
After his enlistment, with G.I. Bill in tow, Canon returned to his native state and attended the University of Georgia where he obtained a B.S. in technology education. For the next six years, Canon taught algebra, technology, and physical science in Dalton, Georgia. While teaching, Canon obtained two advanced degrees and ultimately decided to attend Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia.
Canon graduated law school with honors. During law school, Canon was an active member of the National Security Legal Society as well as the Military Association of Veteran Students. Canon was also an active member of Mercer’s Mock Trial Team.
Canon believes that being a lawyer, at its core, is about helping people. Often that help is needed during some of the most difficult times in a person’s life. Whether it’s helping someone sort out financial trouble or guiding them through a rough family dispute, Canon’s legal training along with his life and work experiences allow him to relate and interact with people in a positive and beneficial way.
Canon currently lives in Peachtree City, Georgia with his wife of seventeen years, Kristin Snow, and their daughter, Emma Pearl.
Canon looks forward to helping you as a member of Slepian, Schwartz & Landgaard.
