Codi was born into a Navy family and spent most of his young life moving from base to base all over the South East until his family settled permanently in Georgia in 1997. At Sandy Creek High School, he was the Commander of his Air Force JROTC.
After graduation, he left Georgia to attend The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina. After graduating with honors, Codi applied and was accepted into William Mitchell School of Law (now known as Mitchell Hamline) in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Codi graduated in 2017 and received his Juris Doctor after having provided 600+ hours of pro bono work to the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office.
Upon returning to Georgia, and while saving to take the BAR exam, Codi worked in the Fayette County Clerk’s office, beginning the first steps of establishing his legal network in Georgia. Thereafter, Codi was hired by Slepian & Schwartz in 2018, admitted to the Bar in 2019, and now practices in a plethora of legal fields including Landlord-Tenant, Contract, Real Estate, Employment, General Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense yet he still holds a passion for 2nd Amendment firearm defense law and international security law.
